Backend Java Developer

Overview

IT Data Consulting (ITDC) is a well-established national consulting firm, is looking to hire a Java Developer with a minimum of 3+ years of experience to become an integral part of our team on a complex risk analysis and workflow platform. We are an Agile, DevOps, cross-functional team where development works closely with QA, business analysts, operations, and project and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that further the mission of enabling a small government agency to regulate safety and compliance for millions of products every day. The majority of this work will be remote but may occasionally require visits to on-site government client location in Bethesda, MD. Compensation will be based on experience and skill level and will be competitive. Candidate must have strong communication (speaking and writing skills) This job is ONLY available to U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents who either already have or are able to successfully obtain a Public Trust Clearance!

Responsibilities
  • Work with project manager or product owner to analyze user needs and develop software solutions
  • Create software and well-commented code that meets requirements
  • Participate in ongoing operational support of production systems
  • Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
  • Author documentation as required for software designs, operational guides, process and lifecycle descriptions, etc. as needed
  • Perform routine software maintenance
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years development experience (including internships) with Java/Spring frameworks
  • Spring Data JPA and/or Hibernate
  • Core Java and OO concepts and strong knowledge of data structures and core computer science concepts
  • Experience with 3 tier enterprise web application design and development and familiarity with HTML5 / Javascript / JSON / AJAX / RESTful Web Services
  • Experience with SQL and relational database development preferably with MS SQL Server
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments; experience and readiness supporting the software we build
  • Containerized software delivery

Senior Econometric Analyst (Federal Credit & Model Validation)
Full-time Washington, DC Metro Area (Hybrid)
Overview

IT Data Consulting, LLC (ITDC) is seeking a Senior Econometric Analyst to support our federal clients' federal credit programs. The selected candidate will lead and support credit risk modeling, econometric analysis, and model validation activities for federally backed loan and guarantee portfolios. This role requires deep expertise in federal credit program requirements, including compliance with OMB Circular A-11, Federal Credit Reform Act (FCRA), and model risk management best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain econometric and statistical models supporting federal credit programs (e.g., loan guarantees, direct lending, subsidy estimation)
  • Perform independent model validation (IMV), including: Conceptual soundness review, data and input validation, replication and benchmarking, sensitivity and stress testing, etc.
  • Analyze credit risk, default, prepayment, recovery, and loss severity across loan portfolios
  • Support subsidy cost estimation and re-estimation in accordance with FCRA and OMB A-11 requirements
  • Develop and maintain documentation to meet federal audit, OIG, and regulatory standards
  • Translate complex analytical results into clear, decision-ready insights for senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with program, policy, and technical teams to ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and reporting requirements
  • Support development of data pipelines and analytical frameworks for portfolio monitoring and reporting
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, or related quantitative field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in econometric modeling, credit risk analytics, or financial modeling
  • Direct experience supporting federal credit programs (e.g., SBA, DFC, FHA, USDA, EXIM, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of: Federal Credit Reform Act (FCRA), OMB Circular A-11 (Credit Supplement), Model Risk Management (e.g., SR 11-7 or equivalent frameworks), etc.
  • Proven experience in model development and/or independent validation
  • Proficiency in statistical tools such as R, Python, SAS, or Stata

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support services to our customer, ensuring the highest level of patient safety, accuracy, patient improvement and efficiencies across the Military Health Service. This role supports the mission of the National Capital Region Medical Directorate (NCR-MD) to optimize health and wellness through effective and efficient healthcare practices and service delivery. The successful candidate will navigate the evolving environment of National Defense Authorization Act transitions, audits, IT system implementations, and budget constraints. You will be involved in process improvements, program management, training & communication, and systems integration, all within the dynamic NCR market. Your task will be to provide financial guidance to the NCR-MD, reviewing current practices and recommending best practices for resource management in healthcare delivery. This role is based at the Walter Reed National Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Your professional audit response, remediation, internal controls, and systems integration support skills will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program plans and business process re‐engineering strategies.

IT Data Consulting (ITDC) is a well-established national consulting firm, seeks a Web Content Manager/Editor to join our highly skilled team supporting a prominent federal website. This individual will work as part of a team to manage, aggregate, curate, edit, proofread and post a variety of written content and imagery to a high-profile website. Prospective candidates should be self-driven, thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is imperative, be able to handle deadline pressures with equanimity and be dedicated to producing high-quality work. A “can do” attitude and flexibility are essential, with the ability to work independently yet collaboratively in our close-knit team. This role is a full-time, salaried position. Team coverage hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., in assigned regular shifts. Additional on-call responsibilities outside of regular hours include one week night, plus scheduled rotational weekend and holiday on-call watches. The assigned workplace is Fort Meade, Md., with telework options. This position reports to the Web Content Operations Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Five or more years’ professional experience with a degree in any of the following fields: journalism, writing, producing, editing or communications;
  • Excellent editing, copyediting and proofreading skills with demonstrated expertise in using the AP Style Guide;
  • Experience posting web content using a content management system (includes systems based on Dot-Net-Nuke, WordPress, Wix, Adobe Experience Manager, etc.) and a basic understanding of HTML;
  • An eye for selecting imagery to complement content and the ability to crop photos and make minor edits such as adjusting brightness/contrast, using Photoshop.
  • Hold a public trust clearance or CAC, or be able to pass a security background screening.
  • Can meet all requirements for federal contractors, including drug tests and vaccinations;
  • Authorization to work for any U.S. employer.
